Siegessäule (Victory Tower)

This is the Siegessäule, a towering Victory Column that celebrates Berlin's historical military triumphs. During the day, you can climb the 285 steps to the viewing platform, and there you'll be rewarded with one of the best panoramic views of the city.

Standing proudly in the middle of Tiergarten, the column is crowned by a golden statue of Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory, often referred to by locals as "Goldelse." It’s not just a monument, it’s a beloved landmark that tells the story of Berlin’s resilience and spirit.
